BMT Wins $20 Million Contract with US Navy

BMT Designers & Planners Inc announced today that it has won a five-year contract to support the US Navy.  The Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract will run over a five-year period and is worth up to $20 million.

The contract was awarded by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Indian Head Division to provide environmental programme support to the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Environmental Readiness Division, Code N45.

BMT expects to work on between 40-50 projects over the course of the new contract, which will cover management and technical support tasks in matters concerning the US Navy’s environmental and conservation programmes.

Initial projects will include:

Areas to be covered over the full course of the contract will include the development of information systems, annual programme plan development, environmental audits, review of emerging regulations, training plans, development of media plans and instructions, annual budget process reviews and environmental project reviews.
