The office of BMT Transport Solutions GmbH ist situated in central Hamburg, near the harbour. The walking distance from the subway stations Landungsbrücken and Baumwall (both at the line U3) is approx. 3 minutes (please zoom in to the Google map above for a street map). You can use Geofox to get a personalised public transport itinerary from any place in Hamburg to our office (Just put in "Karpfangerstr. 14" as destination.)
How to get to Hamburg
By plane
Hamburg has an international airport ca 8 km north-west of the city centre. A taxi ride from the airport to the office takes about 30 min (longer during rush hours). Using public transport, you need about 40 mins to reach the office. An Airport Express shuttle bus (line 110) operates between the airport and the light rail ('S-Bahn') station Ohlsdorf every 10 minutes. Another bus service links directly to the city centre. From Ohlsdorf, line S1 or U1 provide fast links to the city and other parts of town.
By rail
Hamburg is a main railway node. There are fast IC or ICE connections to many German cities at hourly intervals (Online travel information is available at the Deutsche Bahn web site).
By car
From the south, BMT can be reached via the motorway A1 from Bremen and further down from the Ruhr area, or via the motorway A7 from Hannover, Kassel, Frankfurt and Munich. The motorway A24 links Hamburg and Berlin. To the north, the motorway A1 links to the Baltic ports of Travemünde and Puttgarden while the motorway A7 connects Kiel and, further northwards, Denmark.
During the day it is difficult to find a parking space near BMT. There is a subterranean car park east of the BMT office near Michaelis church ("Michel"). Access either via Dietmar-Koel-Straße or via Scharsteinweg.
