Based in Singapore, BMT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of BMT Group providing consultancy services in master planning, engineering, project and asset management of marine infrastructure; marine risk and navigation assessment and specialist studies; enterprise class ICT services including systems architecture, software development, building and construction software, lifecycle management and enterprise content management.

The Role

BMT Asia Pacific have an ongoing requirment for Risk & Safety Consultants and welcome applications from skilled individuals to join the company.

As a Risk & Safety Consultant with BMT Asia Pacific you will cooperate with experts locally and globbally and help to grow the risk & safety business stream of BMT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in the region. As a risk & safety consultant for onshore or offshore facilities, you will assist in solving technical problems as well as establishing and maintaining good working relationships with local and international clients and agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Support and conduct Process Risk & Safety Management and Project Risk Management projects
• Support and conduct various risk assessments such as Quantitative Risk Assessment, HAZOP, HAZID etc.
• Establish and maintain good working relationship with customers
• Assist in marketing activities
• Assist inm managing and maintaining HSE within the workplace
• Logistics arrangements/management

BMT Asia Pacific are looking for Senior Consultants and Consultants for our offices in Singapore and Jakarta.

The Individual

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Safety, Health and Environment Studies)
• Be familiar with various Process Safety such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, SIL studies etc.
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Skills in computer-aided Risk modelling software or engineering- based programming preferred
• Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, good communication skills (oral/written), good presentation and report writing skills
• Able to travel based on project requirements

Language Skills:

• English/Chinese
