BMT are delighted to once again be supporting the International Women in Engineering Day. The increased representation of women throughout our business is a key strand of our global Diversity and Inclusion Strategy. BMT launched its first women in leadership training programme last year named the BMT Consulting Women Programme whereby women across our business have the opportunity to undertake this invaluable, development opportunity. As an outcome women are equipped with the skills required to support their progression to more senior roles within BMT. As part of our wider Diversity and Inclusion strategy fair representation of all minority groups ensures we have a workforce that is fit for purpose and that embraces the promotion of innovation, diverse thinking and creativity; the drivers of future business success.

To publicise this event and to share our commitment to the International Women in Engineering Day we will be releasing videos of BMT employees who share their experience of working within the engineering sector; the learning and development opportunities within BMT, the importance of more women choosing a career in engineering and above all the importance of diversity and inclusion within BMT.
