    The study analysed the social and environmental impact of the transportation projects in Sebuku, South Kalimantan in order to help our customer with an investment decision. The study evaluated a number of variables including cost, logistics, government approval and risks. The scope of works delivered: forecasts of income and costing (CAPEX & OPEX), return on investment (ROI) evaluation, cash flow forecasts, sensitivity testing, financial feasibility assessment, advice for financing options, commercial risk and mitigations analysis.

  • Pre-feasibility Study for the Development of a Port in Vietnam

    As part of a government scheme to increase agricultural exports from a Vietnam province, BMT was appointed to help the client examine existing and planned port facilities and transport networks; estimat the potential cargo demand; establish possible strategic development options corresponding to the economic and competitive framework and highlighted possible risks to each option.

  • Pre-Feasibility Study of Kijing Deep Water Port

    BMT was appointed to conduct a preliminary feasibility assessment of the market, technical, commercial and financial viability of the development of a deep water port in Kijing, West Kalimantan, providing the following services: hinterland economic assessment, demand forecast by cargo types technical assessment (marine and port facility requirements, environmental and metocean impacts), supply planning, forecasts of income and costing (CAPEX & OPEX), cash flow forecasts, sensitivity testing, financial feasibility assessment.

  • Pre-feasibility Study on Coal Transportation Corridor

    BMT developed the pre-feasibility study on coal transportation in order to assist coal export in South Sumatra, Indonesia. Based on existing coal business infrastructures, the study analysed a number of traffic routes options.     The purpose of this Preliminary Feasibility assessment was to establish at a high level the nature and volume of cargo demand, the technical requirements to support this volume, the marine and port facility requirements, broad environmental and metocean impacts, and quantified investment returns.
