  • Engineering Consultancy for the Development of Four Oil Tanker Jetties

    BMT assisted in the development of offshore oil facilities on Pulau Busing Island, off Singapore's busy south coast. The work was motivated by the increasing costs of oil, and the BMT team was in place to assess a total engineering design and project management consultancy for four new jetties.

    BMT Asia Pacific was appointed by Vopak Yang Pu, Hainan Storage Terminal to provide consultancy services on all matters relating to the marine facilities for the terminal development.

    BMT was appointed by Singaport Cleanseas for the conceptual design review and project management consultancy for the proposed construction of new tanks and associated facilities at the existing slop reception centre at Pulau Sebarok, Singapore and also the study on the potential upgrading/expansion of the existing barge pier to cater for bigger vessels.

    BMT has been providing engineering support to Muhibbah Engineering Bhd for the LNG Regasification Facilities Project, commencing from FEED for the LNG regas unit and the Island berth.

    Environmental Impact Assessment for a major road upgrade, Hong Kong

    The Project was to upgrade the remaining 5.2 km long sections of Kam Tin Road and Lam Kam Road from a substandard single two-lane carriageway into a standard 7.3m wide carriageway, with the associated improvement of pedestrian facilities and public transport laybys. BMT was appointed to conduct an EIA for this road improvement project. Key environmental issues include air quality, noise, water quality, waste, land contamination, cultural heritage and landscape and visual impact assessment.
